At Fusion Fitness we use the Universal Reformer, Barrel and Wunda Chair. These apparatuses add a whole new dimension to Pilates exercises. The machines give you a full-body resistance training without bulking you up. It is all about muscles that are long and lean. The reformer work involves exercising with spring resistance/assistance. A spring is different than a free weight. The amount of resistance or assistance of a spring changes as it stretches, challenging the muscle as you stretch it out along an increasing continuum. Training against spring resistance builds long and gorgeous muscles that have flexibility and coordination.
